OUR STORY

Greg Barnhart stated in the glazing industry in 1975. He started Pacific Glass and Door, Inc in 1982 and began with one employee working on McDonald's restaurants throughout Western Washington.

At the time, Greg knew that they could not live on only one client, so they started to work on bigger projects and began growing the company. PGD started working out of his house and rapidly grew out of that.

As the company grew, the crew grew also.

Greg’s son, Peter, joined Greg in 2003,  Peter started working in the office and helping with keeping the bookwork and Greg taught him about estimating.

Greg continued on that path until January of 2020 when he sold the company to Peter.

Greg still does estimating for the company as needed to help the staff of estimators.

One day he may get tired and decide to hang up his calculator.
